The Scriptorium – Missouri Room

The American Heritage Dictionary defines scriptorium as, a room in a monastery set aside for the copying, writing, or illuminating of manuscripts and records. This is our way of “walking the talk.” We know that good instruction provides learners with opportunity to reflect and to practice. This is a special place, open throughout day two of the Writing Extravaganza, for participants to nurture the writing self. The Scriptorium provides a place to journal, blog, reflect, relax, chat and plan. It also is a place for ideas and a place for information about resources and upcoming events that support writing instruction and assessment. Check out this wonderful writing environment!

During Session D, Bill Menousek will be demonstrating the new Interactive Reservation and Information System IRIS.
